The FBI has elevated accused child molester Edward Eugene Harper to its Ten Most Wanted list and has increased the reward to $100,000 for information leading to his arrest. Harper was charged with conspiracy to commit sexual battery, child fondling and sexual battery in connection with the sexual assault of two girls in Mississippi and failed to appear at a court hearing.

Parents Say TV Anchorwoman Was Sexually Assaulted

The parents of a television anchorwoman who was beaten to death in her home say she was also sexually assaulted. Anne Pressly was beaten so badly her jaw was shattered and she broke her hand trying to defend herself, her parents told NBC's "Today" show.
Curtis Lavelle Vance, 26, of Marianna, Arkansas has been arrested in connection with Pressly's death. Read more...
Brother-in-Law Arrested in Jennifer Hudson Case

The estranged brother-in-law of Jennifer Hudson has been arrested in connection with the death of the singer's mother, brother and young nephew in their Chicago home. William Balfour was arrested at Stateville Correctional Center where he was being held on parole violation charges.
Until his arrest, Balfour had been considered a person of interest in the October 24 murders. Read more...
DNA Links Murder Suspect to Earlier Rape

The Arkansas man arrested for the murder of a popular television anchorwoman in Little Rock has been linked through DNA evidence in that case to the rape of a school teacher in April. Curtis Lavelle Vance, 28, is being held without bond for the murder of Anne Pressly.
Investigators now believe Vance raped an eastern Arkansas school teacher while she was taking a shower in her home. Read more...
